I love my digital camera!! It all depends on how much you want to spend though.. I find with these guys, the action mode is usually the best way to go!

yeah get a digi camera. My mom likes Fuji ones. She had one that lasted her for 7 years before it just died (and yes it was digital) so she bought another Fuji one she loves.
We have the Casio Exilim and Mom loves it. But there are lots of good ones out there.

Mom has a Canon Elph SD1000 that she LOVES, LOVE, LOVES! She doesn't get too artsy with our pics and wanted something really idiot proof. Plus it's teeny & she can take it everywhere!
I think videos of you are reason enough for a new camera!

We have a Kodak dinosaur! Mom is comfy with it and that's what counts the most to her! She hates change!

My mom has bad luck with digi cameras. She has had 3 in the last year! The last one she bought is an HP and is easy to use!

TBU uses a Canon PowerShot SX100IS and is happy with it for both still and video.

Mom and Dad have a medium-well digi-cam that they think does a great job. It cost them $180 (just so you know what to expect). It is a Nikon. The trick is to get one with the ability to catch motion and at least 5 megapixels.
